The Medical Psychiatry Collaborative Care Certificate (MP3C) is a continuing education program to support learning in integrated mental and physical collaborative care. Collaboratively Managing Eating Disorders in an Adult Population
Eating disorders are a serious illness with life threatening physical and mental health morbidity and mortality. Management of patients with eating disorders is complex and calls upon inter-professional skills that are best managed in a collaborative framework. This module will use case-based learning to help attendees to understand the etiology, prevalence, assessment tools, principles of medical management and treatment for anorexia nervosa and bulimia nervosa.

Integrated Obesity & Mental Health Care: Practical Strategies to Improve Outcomes
This workshop addresses the association between mental health and obesity from both adult and pediatric perspectives. It identifies and explains the difference in treatment approach when working with each of these populations. During this workshop, facilitators will introduce and explain mental health approaches used to target patient engagement as well as cognitive and behavioral patterns that may interfere with physical health and emotional wellbeing.
